After seeing Ryder get wet while waiting for the school bus, a group of teenagers offered to build him a shelter at the bottom of his driveway. Rather than waiting outside for the bus in Winter, Ryder now has a safe place to wait where he can stay warm. Ryder now uses the shelter every day waiting for the bus and waiting to be picked up by his nurses. Ryder will be able to use his shelter for the rest of his life since there is some room to grow. To thank the teens, the family sent a photo of Ryder in the bus shelter to show their hard work paid off.
