Hope Chicago, the nonprofit led by former Chicago Public Schools CEO Dr. Janice Jackson has created a multi-generation scholarship program to help students and their parents go to college. They chose 4,000 students from 5 different Chicago public schools. Along with each of the students getting a full ride tuition to college to any of the 20 participating 2 and 4-year higher education institutions and industry certification programs, one of their parents also gets to go back to school.
