Two brothers from New Jersey, Aiden and Louis Ardine decided to take time off of work to walk from New Jersey to California. Over this 3,200 mile journey the covered an average of 20 miles per day over 162 days while passing through 11 states. They encountered a black bear, climbed the Rocky Mountains, and many friendly strangers. They wanted to prove that people are inherintly good on this walk, which they found to be true. By the end of their walk, they had raised $70,000 to split between the Restaurant Workers' Community Foundation and the COCO Fund — two nonprofits aiding food workers hit hard by the pandemic.
