After deadly tornados came through town, Shawn Triplett made it his mission to ensure that all of the kids still received Christmas gifts. After firsthand witnessing a child devastated about his Christmas being ruined, he wanted to make a difference. While everyone was supporting the community affected with the essentials, no one was thinking about the kids' Christmases. Triplett started a GoFundMe to accomplish his goal and raised over $44,000. Originally hoping to help 30 kids, he is now able to help hundreds.
