In New Jersey, North Bergen’s Lincoln Tunnel Motel has been in Brian Arya’s family for years. Brian began working the night shift there in 2012—then his father gifted him partial ownership five years ago. In order to bring people joy and to bring awareness to the motel, Brian started a TikTok that now has more than 880,000 followers. When Covid hit, Brian started to see a strong need for affordable housing with the "Free Room for You" program that gave anyone in need a free room to stay. That snowballed to the motel receiving tons of donations for his good deed. Brian like to say that the Lincoln Tunnel Motel will “leave the light at the end of the tunnel on for you.”
