Dallas, TX - A lack of opportunity is such a frustrating feeling. In 2006, Charmaine Solomon was experiencing some serious frustration. Her son with special needs was set to graduate high school and there were no satisfactory choices for what came next. Charmaine began reaching out to other parents and discovered options were very limited. There were no programs that offered full-time, quality continuing education for people with cognitive disabilities.

Charmaine and two other moms decided this was a great opportunity to create opportunities for their kids and in 2008, My Possibilities was founded. My Possibilities was started to give kids like Charmaine’s son the opportunity to continue their education with vocational skills, socialization opportunities and independent living skills.
